Jeff Bell

I was born and raised in the Treasure Valley; growing up on the Bench by the Airport. I attended Boise High School and Boise State University. I married Wendy in 1987 and started a family. I worked in the restaurant business for the first six years of my working career, my last position there was as a manager at Perkins/Village Inn.

I needed a life change so I quit the restaurant and went back to school. While attending school I began working part-time for a two person start-up drywall company. I ended up staying with this company for nearly 15 years. With a lot of hard work and dedication I helped build this business into a multi-million dollar company.

Along the way I quietly started a side business, J & W Custom Homes, of building custom homes for friends and family…

Soon the part time business grew to a full time commitment. I was forced to decide whether to stay with my current job or take a chance with my own business and a better life for my family.

So I quit my job and started building homes full time. As a side benefit, building full time has allowed me flexibility to spend more time with my kids.

I have been building homes for ten years now in the Valley and have grown into the Donnelly/McCall are in the past few years.

When Wendy and I started the company we decided that we would only build homes that we would want to live in. We still hold that philosophy and believe that is what separates us from the rest and makes us strive to make our homes the best.
